ROCKAWAY 2011
Rockaway, Malaysia’s independent rock festival is back with a bang! Combining the very best of what everyone has grown to love about Rockaway with a new twist, this updated concept hopes to live by the slogan of creating Malaysia’s and the region’s LARGEST ROCK festival to date with a strong line-up consisting of a mixture of locally and internationally renowned acts. This non-stop 12 hour rock festival is the first of its kind in Malaysia not only because of the extensive line-up; it is the only platform that selects local acts who have newly released material to showcase.
The success of the first Rockaway which boasted more than 10, 000 attendees and 300, 000 views online is definitely an encouraging factor for us to follow the same formula in streaming the show live on Rockaway’s official website. Rockaway 2011, a partnership between One Buck Short & Friends and Livescape is slated to take place on 8 October at Carpark A, Bukit Jalil Stadium.
